These terms and conditions govern the purchase and use of electronic vouchers (e-vouchers) through the Eli Wallet application. To use this service, the customer must download the Eli Wallet application and agree to the terms and conditions outlined herein.
• Electronic vouchers: are digital codes or virtual cards used as a means of payment or to obtain discounts when purchasing products or services online or in physical stores (POS). Electronic coupons can be specific (such as coupons for a specific store) or general (used at multiple merchants). They are activated by entering a specific code or QR code.
• User: Any person who is subscribed to the Eli Wallet application and wants to purchase electronic vouchers.
• Bank: Jordan Kuwait Bank, which is the service provider of the Eli Wallet application.
• Eli Wallet application: A Jordan Kuwait Bank application that creates digital wallets and enables customers to issue prepaid cards (virtual and physical) in multiple currencies. Customers can also benefit from the electronic voucher service through this application.
• Limits of Liability: Jordan Kuwait Bank shall not be liable for any indirect losses, damages, or losses resulting from the use of electronic vouchers or the inability to use them.
• Amendments to the Terms and Conditions: Jordan Kuwait Bank may amend these terms at any time and announce these amendments through the application or through any of its communication channels.
1. The customer's Wallet and card must be active and not cancelled or suspended.
2. The customer is bound by the list of merchants specified by the bank and has no right to object to the presence or absence of any merchant on the list.
3. The customer agrees to adhere to the permitted number of coupons and has no right to object to the inability to purchase any coupon if the permitted limit is exceeded.
4. It is understood by the customer that electronic coupons are divided into two parts, “coupons and discounts.
5. It is understood by the customer that the coupon program includes obtaining a specific service at a discounted price and are purchased directly by the customer through the application.
6. It is understood by the customer that the discount program includes obtaining a discount of a specified percentage from the merchant and can be obtained the discount percentage through the application without any financial restrictions on the wallet balance.
7. It is the customer’s understanding that the value of the electronic voucher “Coupon” is deducted directly from their wallet balance.
8. It is understood by the customer that a QR Code or serial number is sent as a reference for the electronic voucher requested by him. The customer can either go directly through the application or send it via text messaging service.
9. It is understood by the customer that he can benefit from the discount rate by visiting the branches of the merchant providing the service and showing QR or serial number and payment using Wallet Eli cards.
• Vouchers are not transferable to cash or redeemable for cash.
• Vouchers are valid only during the expiry period indicated on the voucher.
• The customer understands that the Wallet Eli service provides local and international e-vouchers through a specific category of merchants.
• The customer understands that e-vouchers are subject to the merchant's terms and conditions of sale.
• The customer understands that the discount percentage is determined by the merchant and the customer has no right to object to it
• The customer understands that some coupons or discount percentages from some merchants are limited in quantity and that the customer cannot object to the inability to purchase e-vouchers due to the expiration of the quantity specified by the merchant.
• The customer understands that they have no right to object to the list of merchants included in the Benefits list on the application.
• The customer understands that they alone will benefit from these vouchers and may not sell them to anyone else.
• The customer understands that the purchase of these vouchers is irrevocable, and that if they are not used, the bank has the right to cancel these vouchers. The customer has no right to object or request a refund.
• In the event of failure to use the vouchers correctly, Jordan Kuwait Bank has the right to take the necessary measures, including canceling the voucher.
